The precipitation of uranium from an acidic stream requires the acid to be neutralised, resulting in the loss of the acid and the need for significant quantities of neutralising chemicals.

Using Patented Technology, up to 85% of the acid can be recovered, prior to neutralisation, allowing the acid to be reused AND save significant quantities of neutralising chemicals 		The Acid Recovery Technology developed has been patented by Paladin Energy, with BMS personnel as co-inventors.

BMS Engineers and Paladin Energy have agreed to jointly develop and further this nano-filtration technology in the uranium industry.
