Mark Peacock
Managing Director
Mark is one of the two original founders of BMS Engineers and has over 35 years’ experience as a Chemical Engineer. Working on projects involving plant design, installation and commissioning, Mark has worked in Australia, Africa and the Americas on commodities including uranium, alumina, gold, phosphate, nickel and industrial waste waters.
Mark’s operational experience as Plant Process Manager, Plant Engineer and Shift Engineer has enabled considerable insight into the experience necessary for successful plant design and commissioning.
Mark is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Shana McDougall
Technical Director
Shana is one of the two original founders of BMS Engineers and has over 25 years’ experience as an Analytical Chemist and Chemical Engineer. Experienced in process plant design, installation and commissioning, Shana is also experienced in laboratory operation, systems and management.
Shana’s technical expertise includes plant optimisation, predictive maintenance as well as laboratory techniques and quality systems. Shana has worked on a range of mining and petroleum projects in Australia and Africa.
Shana is a Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Mathieu Paul
Commercial Director
Mathieu is a Business Analyst who has an Advisory background at KPMG, Siemens and Grant Thornton. Mathieu specialises in business strategy, growth and development, marketing, tax and legal structuring.
Mathieu has worked in France, China and Australia for numerous clients ranging from mining, engineering, construction, to retail, manufacturing, finance, IT and not-for-profit. petroleum projects in Australia and Africa.
Mathieu joined the BMS Engineers board in 2025.
Thibault Paul
Investor Group Chair Director
Thibault is an experienced business manager who has vast experience in the health services industry. Thibault brings unique experience in business management, strategy and growth.

Francois Hoste
Principal Investor Director
Francois is an experienced technology and business professional with a Master of Business Administration. His professional background spans systems and network engineering, telecommunications, tourism, and real estate.
As a Director of BMS Engineers, Francois contributes strategic insight, financial capability, and governance to support long term business growth and value creation.
Francois is actively involved in identifying and developing high value investment opportunities through a disciplined, analytical, and strategy driven approach.
Francois joined the BMS Engineers board in 2025.
Christian Small
Senior Process Engineer
Christian has over 14 years’ experience in engineering design, plant operations and pilot plant campaigns. He has worked on major construction and commissioning projects in Australia and abroad including Papua New Guinea and Africa.
Whilst working as a Plant Metallurgist, Christian gained supervisory experience on copper, zinc and lithium operations in West Australia.
His practical experiences also included roles on plant refurbishment and commissioning projects.
